We can demo anything, and we own the machine to prove it. Tile and thinset baked onto a slab, glued-down vinyl, hardwood, carpet, or three layers of old flooring stacked on top of each other. Residential or commercial, and we haul it off when we're done.

Demo without wrecking the house
We run a National 5700 ride-on scraper on residential and commercial jobs alike, and on every material: tile, thinset, mastic, vinyl, VCT, plank, laminate and carpet. Beyond that, tear-out is dusty work and most of the difference between a good crew and a bad one is containment. We seal the work area, run dust extraction on grinders, protect what's staying, and haul the debris off rather than leaving a pile in your driveway. On commercial jobs we can demo nights and weekends so the space stays usable during the day.
Questions about flooring demo
Will you demo if someone else is installing the new floor?
Yes. Demo is a standalone service. Tell us what's down and roughly how many square feet and we'll price it.
How bad is the dust?
Manageable. We contain the area and use extraction on grinding and thinset removal. It's never zero, but it shouldn't end up through the whole house.
Do you haul everything away?
Yes. Haul-off and cleanup are included in the estimate, not billed after the fact.
What if the floor is stuck down and nobody else will touch it?
That's the job our ride-on scraper was bought for. Tile and thinset, mastic, glued-down vinyl and VCT, plank, laminate and carpet all come up in hours instead of days, in a house or a commercial space, and the price reflects that.
