What we see in Humble
Humble splits into two very different jobs. The 1970s and 80s homes near Old Humble and along FM 1960 usually have original flooring over a slab that has moved with the clay soil, so almost every one of those needs leveling before anything goes down. The newer subdivisions toward Lake Houston are the opposite problem: flat slabs, but builder-grade carpet and thin laminate that people are ready to replace inside five or six years.
