Why we steer Kingwood toward waterproof
A large share of Kingwood took water in 2017, and plenty of those homes were repaired in a hurry with whatever the crews could get. We see a lot of laminate down there that swelled at the seams and never recovered. Tile and luxury vinyl plank. Both are waterproof at the surface, and with LVP you can often pull, dry and relay rather than replace. Laminate and carpet are the two that don't survive standing water.
Can you work around trees and tight driveways?
