Tile is unforgiving work. A floor that isn't flat shows up in every lippage edge and every crooked grout line. We level the substrate first, dry-lay the pattern, and set tile so it reads straight across the whole room.

Flat first, then tile
Most tile problems start underneath. We check the slab with a straightedge, grind or level what's out of tolerance, then set on the right mortar for the tile size. Large-format porcelain in particular needs a flat base or the corners lift.

Do you remove the old floor?
Yes. Tear-out and haul-off of tile, wood, carpet, vinyl and glued-down flooring is part of what we do, and it's priced into your estimate.
Can you do large-format tile?
Yes, including 24x48 and plank-look porcelain. Those sizes need a flat substrate, so leveling is usually part of the job.
How long does a tile floor take?
Most residential rooms run two to four days including tear-out, leveling, setting and grout. You'll get a timeline with your estimate.
